Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail the number of (i) day care and after-school providers registered in South Belfast; and (ii) these which enable parents to avail of the Childcare Subsidy Scheme.

Answer:

According to Family Support Northern Ireland (FSNI), there are currently 35 daycare providers and 27 out-of-school providers registered in South Belfast. Of these, 22 daycare providers and 22 out-of-school providers are registered to the Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme (NICSS).

FSNI and NICSS figures are fluid and subject to change.
