To ask the Minister of Health to detail the number of patients who are residing in the Innisfree ward at Knockbracken Healthcare Park who have previously been deemed suitable for community placement.

Answer:

There are less than 5* patients currently in Innisfree for assessment and treatment.

*Use of less than five: The BHSCT are unable to provide an exact figure as the small numbers involved could make patients personally identifiable.

Given there are less than 5 patients currently in Innisfree for assessment and treatment, no further detail can be provided by the trust due to potential of identifying service users. In general, the trust has advised that any delays to placement for anyone, is usually due to the lack of readiness for the placement to commence.
