To ask the Minister for Communities to detail (i) whether he has considered adopting a Fair Work model for the creative industries; and (ii) any steps being taken to improve income and job security for musicians.

Answer:

The Arts Council is aware of and is reviewing the Fair Work principles. It has published its guidance to funding recipients on Rates of Pay for Artists, with remuneration standards for artists, including musicians.
