Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any action he is taking to ensure people at the end of life are not required to wait three months to access the limited capability for work-related activity element of Universal Credit.

Answer:
I can confirm that benefit claimants who advise of an end of life condition where they have 12 months or less to live, and provide supporting medical evidence, are not required to serve the relevant waiting period for payments of Limited Capability for Work and Work Related Activity on Universal Credit.
