Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail all currently live policies, strategies, programmes and action plans that have an explicit objective of tackling poverty, including (i) the lead Department; and (ii) the policy or programme’s stated aim.

Answer:

My Department does not hold information on all currently live initiatives across the Executive Departments. These strategies, programmes and action plans are the responsibility of the relevant individual Departments.

Once it has been agreed by the Executive, it is intended that the Anti-Poverty Strategy, which my Department is leading on, will provide a framework for departments’ future work to address poverty across Northern Ireland.
