Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on works to replace the special educational needs classroom at St Francis' Primary School, Drumaroad, which was destroyed one year ago, during Storm Eowyn.

Answer:

The Education Authority (EA) is delivering the project at St Francis’ Primary School, Drumaroad. The EA has confirmed that the construction tender seeking contractor submissions for the proposed work issued in January 2026. The tender return date is currently scheduled for early February 2026, subject to any received clarifications.

Following tender assessment and contract award, the EA has estimated a period of 12 weeks for the works on site.
