Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on his Department's role in the Children & Young People’s Emotional Health and Wellbeing Framework, led by the Department of Health, in regards to in-school services for young people awaiting an autism diagnosis.

Answer:

My department has engaged with the Department of Health regarding the Framework and will continue to do so.

In-school services for children and young people awaiting an autism diagnosis are already in place via the Graduated Response Framework and the Local Impact Teams, as part of the SEN Reform Delivery Agenda.
