To ask the Minister for Communities whether the Disability Strategy Action Plan will be subject to public consultation.

Answer:

The Disability Strategy Action Plan will be a living document running throughout the life of the Disability Strategy and it will be developed in partnership with the NI Disability Forum. There are currently no plans, or requirements therefore, for it to be subject to public consultation.

Decisions on the timeframe for the publication of the final the Disability Strategy, including its content and implementation remain subject to Executive agreement.
