Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 33788/22-27, to detail (i) the number of the 11 seven-seater vehicles purchased by the Education Authority that are now in use to transport children; and (ii) the number of current vacancies for drivers of these vehicles.

Answer:

The Education Authority has advised that (i) five seven-seater school transport vehicles are currently in operation and (ii) six applicants for the role of driver are in the final stages of the recruitment process and are completing their preemployment checks.
