Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance, pursuant to AQW 35200/22-27, for an update on work to develop a tender for an operator of Ballycopeland Windmill visitor centre and café.

Answer:

The Department for Communities (DfC) is the owner of Ballycopeland Windmill.

DfC provided Construction and Procurement Delivery with a specification for an operator for the site and requested that a tender is issued for the contract.

The procurement strategy and tender documentation are under development at present. It is envisaged the competition will be published on eTendersNI before 31 March 2026.
