Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the School Enhancement Programme proposals for St.Columbanus' College, Bangor.

Answer:

St Columbanus’ College was announced in January 2019 to advance in design under the second call to the School Enhancement Programme (SEP).

The project will provide a two-storey permanent teaching block for science, PE and drama, as well as a 3G multi use games area. The project is currently at RIBA Stage 3 (Detailed Design).

Funding is available to progress SEP projects through the design stages to pre-tender. A decision to release projects to tender for a contractor will be taken on a case-by-case basis, dependent on budget availability at that time.
