Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail when the consultation will be launched to seek views on the priorities for PC28 for NI Water.

Answer:

Under Article 7 of the Water and Sewerage Services (NI) Order, my Department may issue guidance to the Utility Regulator on social and environmental policies in relation to water and sewerage. The Utility Regulator shall have regard to this guidance when regulating NI Water.

Draft guidance on my social and environmental policies for PC28 is currently being prepared and it is hoped that the consultation will be launched by summer 2026.
