My Department’s spend on structural road maintenance and essential routine road maintenance activities in 2024-25 are detailed in the table below.

Capital Structural Maintenance includes resurfacing and reconstruction, asphalt patching, surface dressing, capital investment in both drainage infrastructure and in the structural stability of embankments.

Resource Structural Maintenance includes patching of the carriageway and footways. Routine Maintenance includes activities such grass cutting, tree maintenance and gully emptying.
