To ask the Minister of Health whether there are any plans to stop speech and language therapy provision ahead of children entering pre-school.

Answer:

Accessing speech and language therapy in the early years of childhood is extremely important in determining the future success of a child. It is therefore vital that we work closely with our education colleagues to support children who may be struggling with their speech and communication.
