To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 39020/22-27, to detail any other expenditure associated with defending appeals heard by the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal.

Answer:

The Education Authority (EA) has advised that there is no other expenditure associated with the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST), as no fees are payable to SENDIST by the EA, and the Tribunal does not award costs to successful appellants.
