Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detail any preparatory work that has been undertaken to enable timely policy and funding decisions following publication of the General Dental Services Cost of Service Review.

Answer:

A General Dental Service Advisory Group is being established to provide independent expert advice, to ensure that reform aligns with Departmental priorities and addresses the needs of the patient.

The outworkings of this group and the cost of service review will allow for the development of an Action Plan in line with the timeline set out in the Three-Year Plan.
