To ask the Minister of Education to detail any consideration his Department has given to the implications of the Adult Protection Bill for educational settings.

Answer:

While the Bill is primarily health led and focused on health and Social Care Trust functions, officials are liaising with colleagues from the Department of Health regarding the Adult Protection Bill and are actively considering its potential implications for the education sector.

The department has not engaged with any department other than Health at this time in respect of the Bill.
