To ask the Minister of Education to detail any steps he is taking to develop adult safeguarding guidance and policy for the education sector.

Answer:

Officials are currently working on a refreshed and strengthened ‘Safeguarding in Education Guidance’ document, and it is intended that this will set out clearly expectations for adult safeguarding in education.
