To ask the Minister of Education to detail when the draft statutory guidance on restrictive practice in schools will be put out to public consultation.

Answer:

The Department has launched a public consultation on the draft ‘Restrictive Interventions: Guidance for Educational Settings’. The consultation runs from 12 March to 4 June 2026.
