To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether she will be implementing a 20mph speed limit in residential areas.

Answer:

My Department is currently taking forward a review on a number of speed related matters, including 20mph speed limits which is open for consultation. Further consideration on the use of permanent 20mph zones, such as in residential areas, will be taken on completion of the consultation.
