To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) the timeline for; and (ii) who is involved in, the review of vocational qualifications.

Answer:

In the coming months my Department plans to review the range of vocational and applied qualifications that are currently approved for teaching in Northern Ireland schools. Planning for this review is at a very early stage as my primary focus, and that of my officials, has been on reforming GCSEs and A levels.
