To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister when their Department will publish an International Relations Strategy covering 2026 onwards.

Answer:

We use our engagement with international partners to promote this region as a place where people want to live and work, to visit, to study and invest, and to build the relationships that can help us deliver the Executive’s priorities.

Global outreach and inward investment are important factors in helping us to achieve these goals.

A new framework for International Relations is under development.
