To ask the Minister of Finance, pursuant to AQW 41100/22-27, whether the figure provided included unpaid rates on the Flagship Shopping Centre car park.

Answer:

The car park at the Flagship Shopping Centre constitutes a separate hereditament for rating purposes, and liability for its rates rests with a different company. As the previous question sought information specifically on the Shopping Centre and the units therein, the figure provided did not include any unpaid rates associated with the car park.

Land & Property Services has advised that £34,797.09 remains overdue in respect of the car park, and recovery action is ongoing.
