Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance whether any funding provided for Coastal Adaptation Pilots in England will be given to Northern Ireland through Barnett consequentials.

Answer:

Coastal Adaptation Pilots in England are funded through DEFRA. The Executive would have received Barnett consequentials on any changes to the DEFRA budget as part of the 2025 Spending Review.

However, as Barnett consequentials provided at a Spending Review are identified at Whitehall department level rather than individual programme level it is not possible to identify whether any of these related to the Coastal Adaptation Pilots.
