Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detail the number of rheumatology specialists who can diagnose and support those living with juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

Answer:

The Trust has advised that there are currently 2 WTE substantive paediatric rheumatology consultants in post at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. In addition, 7 WTE adult rheumatology consultants provide care for patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis aged 16 and over.
