Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any steps their office is taking to ensure effective coordination of artificial intelligence policy and implementation across Departments.

Answer:

Since its establishment, the Office of AI and Digital has led the development of a draft Artificial Intelligence Strategy to guide the responsible, ethical and transparent adoption of AI across the public sector. The Office has coordinated structured input from all nine government Departments, alongside engagement with industry and academia to ensure the proposed approach reflects operational need, technical standards and public trust considerations.
