Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any legislative updates that will be made to the Race Relations Order, arising from the Framework for Racial Equality.

Answer:

A comprehensive review and public consultation on reform of the Race Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 have been completed. Resulting policy proposals are currently under consideration, the outworking of which will provide the basis of updated legislation for consideration by the Executive and the Assembly. The enactment of these legislative updates will form part of the delivery of the Race Relations Framework.
