Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 32400/22-27, for an update on when the Active Travel Delivery Plan will be published.

Answer:

As stated in my response to AQW 32400/22-27, the public consultation on the draft Active Travel Delivery Plan closed on 28 February 2025. Officials provided written evidence to the Committee on 5 November 2025, followed by an oral evidence session on 18 February 2026. The Committee’s feedback, received on 3 March 2026, is currently being considered as officials finalise the Plan for my consideration.

Given the importance of the Plan in shaping future investment and delivery of active travel, I will require time to give careful consideration to the final proposals. I hope to be in a position to publish the Plan in the coming months.
