To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail any consideration she has given to updating health and safety legislation.

Answer:

HSENI keeps health and safety legislation under ongoing review.

In addition, I have established a stakeholder working group under the Labour Relations Forum to consider how to best protect workers during severe weather events. I will consider the way forward when the group reports on its conclusions.
