To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail when the work on Bankmore Street, Belfast, will commence, specifically as part of future Glider provision.

Answer:

Following approval of the Outline Business Case for Phase 2 of the Belfast Rapid Transit Project (BRT2), consultants have now been appointed to take forward the design phase. This marks a significant step forward, and the project team will now develop the detailed delivery programme, setting out how the various sections of work will be sequenced.

Once this programme has been finalised, I will be in a position to provide a clearer indication of when works on Bankmore Street are expected to commence.
