Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the total amount spent as a result of employment disputes involving employees of Sport NI between 2013 and 2026.

Answer:

The interim Chief Operating Officer of Sport NI has advised me that;

“All payments made as a result of employment disputes are reported in the organisation’s Annual Report and Financial Statements, which are audited each year by the Northern Ireland Audit Office.

Over the period 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2024, the total amount of payments made as a result of employment disputes was £32,000, being a payment to settle a Fair Employment Tribunal claim as disclosed in the Audited Accounts for the 2014-15 year.

The Audited Accounts for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 years will be published in due course.”
