To ask the Minister for Communities, pursuant to AQW 41704/22-27, whether the £200,000 earmarked for the Newtownards Library project in 2025-2026 will now be allocated to it in the current financial year, further to the approval of the business case.

Answer:

As per my response to AQW 39977/22-27, the draft Capital DEL Budget 2026-30 has not yet been approved. Capital requirements are currently being considered and will be confirmed following agreement of the budget.
