To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether she plans to review the time limits for planning enforcement.

Answer:

The current time limits in relation to taking planning enforcement action are set out in section 132 of the Planning Act (NI) 2011 and are standardised at 5 years across various breaches of planning control. I have no plans currently to bring forward any review or amendment of the current time limits.
