Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for an update on the full utilisation of Redwood Children’s Home.

Answer:

I am pleased to confirm that Redwood Children’s Home was successfully registered as a Children’s Home on the 16th of December 2025. Since January 2026, young people have been transitioning to Redwood Children’s Home - with further uptake of placements scheduled over the forthcoming weeks. The residential home will provide care to young people via both full time and shared care arrangements, and it is currently anticipated that Redwood should be operating at full unit capacity by the end of June / early July 2026.
