To ask the Minister for Communities whether he will bring forward legislation on the revised Decent Homes Standard before the end of this mandate.

Answer:

No, there is no intention to bring forward legislation on the revised Decent Homes Standard before the end of the current Assembly mandate.

The Decent Homes Standard is an administrative standard, established and regulated within my Department’s existing governance and regulatory framework, rather than through legislation.
