Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail (i) any steps her Department is taking to progress changes to the licensing requirements for funeral limousines; and (ii) whether this work will be completed within the 2022-27 Assembly mandate.

Answer:

A review of Class C taxi licensing, which includes the licensing requirements for funeral limousines has been completed. As part of the review process Officials and I met with representatives of the funeral and wedding car sectors to get a clear understanding of the issues they face.

Officials will shortly provide me with any recommendations arising from that review and any proposed changes will be subject to a public consultation.
