To ask the Minister of Health to detail any discussions he has had with (i) the Minister for the Economy; and (ii) leaders at Ulster University, in relation to the future of the Physician Associate Masters course at Magee, in the light of the reduction in staff at the university.

Answer:

I have not had any specific discussions with the Minister for the Economy or leaders at Ulster University in relation to the future of the MSc in Physician Assistant Studies, following the university’s recent announcement in relation to staffing numbers.
