To ask the Minister of Education to detail the number of individuals to have availed of the Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme, since its formation, broken down by constituency.


Answer:
Since the introduction of the Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme in September 2024, £27,467,065 has been paid in subsidies to childcare providers to enable them to directly reduce childcare bills for 28,122 children.
The table below shows a breakdown of these children by their home constituency, along with an overall total for each constituency. This data is correct as of 17 April.
