To ask the Minister for the Economy whether any assessment has made of the implications of the proposed staff reduction scheme at Ulster University for regional campuses, including Coleraine.

Answer:

I am aware that Ulster University has announced its intention to commence a consultation process regarding a proposed staff redundancy scheme. I understand this is the start of a process, the details of which have yet to be determined. I, along with my officials, will continue to engage with the university.
