To ask the Minister for Communities whether his Department has ringfenced funding for domestic abuse refuge support, over the last five years.

Answer:

My Department does not ringfence funding for specific primary client groups, including domestic abuse refuge support, within the Supporting People Programme. Funding is allocated by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to housing support providers, who determine how best to meet identified needs.
