To ask the Minister for Communities whether any assessment has been made of how Universal Credit supports claimants with disabilities who enter further or higher education as a pathway towards employment.

Answer:

Universal Credit provides personalised support based on a claimant’s individual circumstances, including any disabilities and education status where relevant. Where appropriate, further or higher education can be recognised as part of a claimant’s journey towards employment.
