To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 31693/22-27, to detail when the redesigned set of Minimum Standards for Childminding and Day Care for Children will be put out for public consultation.

Answer:

Following the conclusion of the public consultation exercise on vetting arrangements and adult to child ratios, my officials are currently taking forward work to review the wider set of Minimum Standards with a view to holding a second consultation in early 2027.
