Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail any data (i) his Department; and (ii) the Education Authority, holds on the number of dedicated libraries within primary schools.

Answer:

My Department does not hold this information. I have requested this information from the Education Library Service (ELS) which is a statutory service within the Education Authority (EA) that provides a comprehensive library service to Nursery, Primary, Post Primary and Special schools.

I will arrange to have the information forwarded to you as soon as possible.
