To ask the Minister of Education to detail any current arrangements for reimbursing teachers’ travel costs associated with training, professional development or curriculum support events.

Answer:

Any teacher incurring additional travel costs associated with training, professional development or curriculum support events can submit an authorised claim online to the Education Authority (EA).

Once approved the claim is processed via an interface with the teachers’ payroll system.
