To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 32506/22-27, for an updated timeline as to when construction works will commence for the extension and nursery unit of Lurgan Model Integrated Primary School.

Answer:

Further to AQW 32506/22-27, I can advise that the Education Authority (EA) received business case addendum approval for Lurgan Model Integrated Primary School on 18 December 2025.

The procurement process to appoint a contractor to construct the works has commenced. Subject to successful completion of this process, it is anticipated that construction should commence in early 2027.
