Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on the Anti-Poverty Strategy.

Answer:

Following the completion of the Anti-Poverty Strategy Public Consultation on 19 September, DfC officials analysed and considered all responses received. I shared the report titled ‘The Anti-Poverty Strategy Summary of Public Consultation’ on the outcome of this analysis with my Executive colleagues, it was then published on 8th April.

Officials across all departmnets are currently working on taking forward further contributions to the Strategy as appropriate before it is finalised and presented to the Executive for their consideration and approval.

I have asked my Permanent Secretary and her team to look in detail to see how the current draft can be improved.
