Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance whether there is any cap on the percentage increase that property management companies can increase service fees each financial year.

Answer:

Increases in service charges will depend on the nature and terms of individual contracts and leases agreed between a purchaser and a developer. There is no current statutory cap on the percentage by which such fees can be increased. This issue will form part of the policy development process for new legislation.
