Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 45636/22-27, whether any assessment has been made of the rise in numbers of children on tracer letters.

Answer:

The number of pupils on tracer letters fluctuates in response to referrals received by the Education Welfare Service, including those originating from other jurisdictions.

The increase in the number of children included in tracer letters was due to disturbances in summer 2025.
