To ask the Minister of Education, following the motion addressing special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) workload, which was carried on 28 April 2026, to detail when he will commence the review of SENCO workload.

Answer:

While the Department has not committed to a formal review of SENCo workload, a range of actions within the Special Educational Needs Reform Agenda and the Teacher Workload Action Plan will contribute to addressing SENCo workload pressures.
