To ask the Minister of Health whether his Department collects data on the geographical spread of (i) fostering; and (ii) adoption.

Answer:

Through the Statutory Functions process, activity in relation to foster care and adoption is collated by individual Health and Social Care Trusts and reported to Department of Health on a 6-monthly basis for monitoring and performance management purposes.
